The fine print

House rules

Headliner is a nightly paper. No ad network, no API keys, no revenue share. You pay to own tonight's only front page for the rest of the UTC day. There is no fifty-row ranking to climb. One headline. Classifieds below. Money is the signal. Nothing else.

How the bill works

• A day is the unit. At 00:00 UTC the paper goes to press: tonight's front page is printed, how long they held is written in the hall, the edition is archived, and the masthead starts blank. The $5 door opens again. Payments and house revenue never reset.
• New listings are whole US dollars, $5 minimum, $999,999 maximum, $1 at a time. Bids already on tonight's paper keep their amount until they raise, get passed, or the crown locks.
• Taking the only headline costs at least $5 more than the current front page. Paying less still puts you in classifieds. Equal bids stay in the order they were placed — the older booking keeps the higher slot.
• Enter the same website or @handle again to add money to that listing. The ad stays; the previous booking is not wiped. Every charge stays on the ledger. The new total must be at least $1 above your current bid, and you only pay the difference. Someone else cannot take your rank by paying that difference. Midnight UTC still empties the board so prices start over.
• App Store, Play Store, GitHub, and similar platform links are keyed by their path, so different apps don't share a bid. Tracking query strings are ignored.

What you can book

• A product website, or an X @handle.
• Chat and invite links are not allowed — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, and similar. This marquee is for products and profiles, not group chats.
• Links to sexual content are not allowed. If it is porn, NSFW, or an adult platform, it does not belong on the bill.
• Query parameters are stripped from listing links. Affiliate, referral, and tracking URLs will not work.
• Link shortener URLs are not allowed. If you submit one, it is replaced by the URL it redirects to.

After you pay

• Your listing is public. Clicks go to the URL or profile you submitted, without query parameters.
• A completed Dodo Payments charge is what books the slot.
• Checkout runs through Dodo Payments. If the page comes back a second early, give it a refresh.
